A nomad is associated with a horse, in fact, a nomad and a horse are one. The unknown space that attracts beyond the horizon inspires the nomad. Nomads have played an important role in the history of mankind. They contributed to the development of poorly habitable areas. Thanks to their intermediary activities, trade relations between civilizations were established, technological and cultural ties were spread. Direct contacts were established between China and Rome during the Hunnic period. The Mongol period played a particularly important role. Possessing a huge military potential, the Mongol Empire formed a single chain of international trade, technological and cultural exchanges. This period is called "medieval globalization".
